Call Recording and Information Handling

Heron Appliance Service takes calls and publishes homeowner guides for appliance repair around Birch Bay, Blaine, Ferndale, Lynden and Bellingham, Washington. Heron Appliance Service is not itself a contractor and does not perform repairs. When you call, a local appliance repair professional in our network takes the call and does the work.

Calls are recorded

Every call is recorded, and each recording covers the whole call. Hang up if you do not want to be recorded. Calls go through our call-tracking platform, which records the conversation between you and the professional who takes your call. The recording includes what you say during that conversation, from the start of the call to its end.

Call details we collect

The call-tracking platform logs call details such as your number, the time of the call, how long the call lasts and what you say. The information you give during the conversation is part of the recorded call. Call details and the recording both concern the call you make to speak with a local appliance repair professional. The call's length describes its duration; it does not describe how long the recording is kept.

Keeping and sharing call information

Recordings and call data are kept for as long as needed. That applies to the recording of the conversation and to the call details logged by the platform, including the caller's number, time and length of the call, and what the caller says.

Recordings and call data are shared only with the professional who takes the call, with the call-tracking platform that runs the number, and when the law requires. Those are the recipients and circumstances for sharing the recorded conversation and the call details described here.

Visits to the website

We use Google Analytics 4 and Umami to count website visits, pages and devices. Google Analytics 4 uses cookies. Umami is hosted on our own server and does not use cookies. Both tools count visits to the website, the pages visited and the devices used to visit them.

The website has no forms, accounts, payments or ads. Information collected during a call is described in the call sections above; visits to homeowner guides and other pages are counted through the website analytics tools described here.

Embedded maps

Some pages embed a Google map, and loading it sends your IP address and browser details to Google.

Privacy questions and requests
